How To Export Facebook Birthdays?

Facebook used to include a feature that allowed you to export the birthdates of all of your Facebook friends. However, they eventually removed this function owing to privacy concerns. 

Fortunately, thanks to independent developers like Peter Pshenichny, there is a third-party app that you can use to export birthdays from Facebook and add them to your calendar or import them in a CSV file. Here is how you can do it:

• Download the “Birthday Calendar Extractor For Facebook” extension for Google Chrome by clicking here.
• Install the extension by clicking Add to chrome 
• Once installed, open Facebook, login into your account, and Select the “Birthday Calendar Extractor extension” from the extension icon next to the URL bar.
• Select either Generate Google Calendar – ICS or Generate Excel File – CSV from the drop-down menus and click Generate.
• Depending on what you selected before, this will export Facebook birthdays as a CSV or ICS file.

How To Import Facebook Birthdays To Google Calendar?

After you’ve downloaded Facebook birthdays to your computer, you can import them into any calendar program that supports them. We have demonstrated how to import Facebook birthdays into Google and Apple Calendar in this article, but the basic process should be the same for other popular calendar applications.

On Apple calendar 

• Open the calendar app on your mac.
• Open File, from the top left corner of your desktop, just beside the apple logo and calendar.
• From here, select import and choose the File you download from the “Birthday Calendar Extractor extension” earlier and press import.
• Your calendar will now be synced with birthdays from your friends.

On Google Calendar 

• Open Google Calendar on Google Chrome, either from the web or from apps.
• In the My Calendars area, look for the Birthdays option.
• Select the three-dot button next to it, then the Settings option.
• Select the Import & Export option from the General section.
• Click on the Select File from your computer and browse to the location you have downloaded the Facebook birthdays. From here, you can either import the CSV or ICS File, which contains the information of your desired birthdates.
• Select import, wait for a couple of seconds for the calendar to sync, and refresh the page.
